Ronald Francis Simson, (died on 14 September 1914, aged 24) was a Scottish rugby union player for .〔Bath, p109〕 Simson was the first rugby international - of any nationality - to die in the war.〔(An entire team wiped out by the Great War ) (''The Scotsman'').
